PRODUCT UPDATE

This product update covers August and September so far, including improved no-code verification to get started without dev effort, importing all user data, granular email funnel insights, duplicating a verification, and more.

Map your columns, and import whatever user data you hold

New this month, the import shows its work before anything comes in. A Map columns step matches email, IP address, impact figure, and the date for the figure to your columns, each one a dropdown you can repoint, and only email is required. Everything else imports as extra data on each person's record, with its type set from presets, and the summary says exactly how many columns are coming in before you confirm.

No code: Verify your existing users by email, without leaving the VerifyYou dashboard

There is no integration to build. Import your list and every person you add gets a verification link locked to their address, so a link that leaks cannot be used by somebody else. Paste it in or upload a CSV, whole spreadsheet rows are fine, and checking the accounts you already hold stops meaning an export and a mail merge.

Send the check, and see who opened the invite via email

Sending happens on the verification’s Activity tab, and we host it, so there is no mail system to wire up on your side. Write your message once, pick your rows, and Send unsent goes to everyone you have added who has not been sent to yet, with a visible daily cap of 500. The Email invites view then tells you what happened to each person: sent, opened, clicked, verified. Emails can go out from your own domain once DNS records are in place, so ask us for the records before a large batch.

Duplicate a verification

A check you have already tuned no longer has to be rebuilt to be reused. Duplicate it from the dashboard and the setup carries over into a new check under its own label. Adjust what needs adjusting and take it live.

Small improvements.

  • The Identity setting now explains itself on the panel: how identity works, a worked example of each option, and which jobs suit which.

  • Identity follows the integration method. On a check run from an imported list, options that need the person to supply their own email are locked, with the reason on screen and a one-click switch.

For your developers.

A follow-up check can now count history from an earlier pool. Pass include_groups when you initialize a session and anyone who already passed the earlier check is denied or flagged, per your settings. For repeat studies, that keeps everyone who passed spring intake out of the summer follow-up.

  • Embedded flows no longer need a redirect URL. The result arrives through the vycheck() promise and your onComplete callback, and the flow never leaves your page.

  • Three embedded-flow reliability fixes, including the desktop QR handoff resuming on older phones. Nothing to upgrade.
